Facebook users have been left stunned after encountering a mysterious emoji. Social media fans discovered a new ‘react’ icon which looked like a tiny little plane. This story was doing the rounds yesterday afternoon, read the full story in the Metro.

An announcement from Snapchat yesterday, voice-controlled lenses as reported by Mashable - Snapchat is giving "no hands" a new meaning by introducing Lenses that a user controls with his or her voice. We've seen Bitmoji lenses, enhanced iPhone X ones, and some that react to sound. This is the first time that a specific word can control a Lens in the app.

WhatsApp starts charging business users

WhatsApp is launching new pay-to-use tools for businesses to communicate with their customers. The move will allow its owner, Facebook, to make money from WhatsApp, which has lacked a revenue stream since dropping subscription fees. (BBC)

Odd report from the Metro, they have pulled out the love island contenstants LinkedIn profiles, and also listed all the other social accounts they own. While we are sure these will all be tightly managed by now, if you liked love island then you might find this list of some stalking use
