    Great tool, needs some famliriarisation

I've been using ClickUp for two accounts for a few years now on a daily basis and it's been very helpful for collaboration. Working on a team with multiple people all over the world, we rely on ClickUp for all processes, projects, time tracking, etc It's an easy way to stay on top of things and there are also automations that make the experience easier. It does seem to have its occasional issues and I still needed some time to understand how I can make the most of it (too many interesting features to figure out) but once you're set it's very handy.

    Pros:

Lots of great features (too many!)

    Cons:

Some training might be helpful at first

A lot of potential but it needs some patience

I've tried ClickUp a few times now and my honest take is that it's a tool with a lot going for it that somehow still manages to get in its own way. The free plan is genuinely generous compared to most project management tools, and if you're a freelancer or early stage in your business it's a reasonable starting point before committing to something like Asana. For social media project management the core functionality is there, you can map out campaigns, track deliverables and manage client workflows without paying anything, which is worth something. The problem is that usability takes a real hit the deeper you go into it. Things get buried, the interface can feel cluttered, and there's a learning curve that feels less like growth and more like archaeology sometimes. It's not that it can't do the job, it's that it makes you work harder than you should have to to get there.

    Pros:

Free plan is one of the more generous ones out there, lots of features and customisation options, decent for basic project and campaign tracking

    Cons:

Usability is a real issue, things get hidden easily and the interface can feel overwhelming, not as intuitive as Asana and requires more setup time to get any real value from it
