Honest Semrush Review — Social Media Scheduling

We currently use Semrush for social media scheduling and it does the job, but it’s not without its flaws. Scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn is straightforward. The calendar view is helpful, and it’s convenient to plan captions, visuals, and dates in one place. Having analytics built in is also useful, although the data isn’t always the most accurate. Where it falls short is usability. The interface isn’t the most intuitive, and tasks like adding images, previewing posts, or managing recurring content don’t feel as smooth as they should. For basic caption scheduling it works fine, but for more creative or visual content, it can feel limiting. We have also had issues with the quality being affected once live on platforms but can't be sure this was a Semrush issue. Overall, it’s reliable for simple scheduling and tracking engagement, but it lacks the polish and depth of platforms built specifically for social media management.
