The best social tool I've used
I first started using Sprout Social when I was on the Social & Community team at Semrush, and I genuinely fell in love with it there. Since then, I’ve tried to find alternatives, but honestly? Nothing has worked as well for me. Sprout is my go-to tool for managing comments across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook) all in one place, which saves so much time. The reporting is also one of the biggest strengths: clear, easy to understand, and actually useful when you need to show performance. I’ve used the scheduling feature too. Personally, I prefer scheduling natively day-to-day, but Sprout’s scheduler is super handy when I’m on holiday or need to plan content in advance. The only real downside is the price. For smaller teams or brands with a limited social presence, it can feel expensive. That said, if social is a key part of your strategy, it’s absolutely worth the investment.
Pros:
Excellent comment management across multiple platforms Strong, easy-to-use reporting Clean interface and reliable performance Great for teams managing multiple channels
Cons:
Pricing can be high for small teams or early-stage brands

Would definitely recommend
I've used it at a previous role and their reporting was very good. Easy to schedule content and get stakeholders' approval. Their EGC feature was also useful. Fairly expensive: I struggled getting sign-off to use it properly.
Pros:
Reporting Competitor analysis Easy scheduling
Cons:
Expensive Too few 'team seats'
